Pasta is truly a comfort food, and we love this pasta bake for a quick go-to recipe to keep on hand.
Why we love this 4 Ingredient Creamy Pasta Bake
It’s so delicious! A crowd pleaser! And this recipe can be used as a main or side dish. The leftovers are amazing, and so easy for reheating. We also love this recipe in the summer, because you can add in fresh garden tomatoes (and extra basil) if you prefer.

How to make 4 Ingredient Creamy Pasta Bake
- Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and add to a large bowl.
- Add in the marinara sauce, fresh basil, and 2 cups of cheese. Gently mix. Salt and pepper to taste.
- Pour into a 9×13 prepared pan (sprayed with cooking spray). Top with remaining 2 cups of cheese. Cover with foil.
- Bake and then remove the foil; heat for additional 5 minutes and serve.
The cheese is melty-delicious and it’s a wonderful comfort meal.
Tips and Substitutions:
- Use our favorite pasta.
- You can mix in either shredded Mozzarella cheese or you can use fresh (and cut into strips or chunks).
- Add in fresh garden tomatoes – SO good!
- Make ahead and reheat later.
- The more basil, the better (in my opinion).
- We’ve also added sauted zucchini. Delish!
How to set up a Supper Club
I’ve had a few readers reach out to me, asking if I would share details on how to set up a Supper Club.
A Supper Club is a great way to foster and make new friends, and be intentional with your hospitality!
It’s also a fun way to try and taste new recipes!
Can you say “Italian Night” for your next supper club? Or, Greek Night (you’ll love this Greek Pasta Salad), or these amazing salads:

Back to the pasta bake.
DeLallo makes cooking a breeze, as this is the brand that we use for pasta. They have whole wheat or plain. They also have gluten-free versions. You can find their brand at most grocery stores (or gourmet grocery stores).
This recipe can be served as a main dish or a side, and it’s a great potluck dish, too.
How to plan a supper club
I know how it is when scheduling dinners in our home, how important and good it feels to get a “date on the calendar.” You have to be intentional with hospitality, and this Supper Club is a fun idea!
We always have a “theme” that our leader lets us know in advance, which gives the meal a little pizzazz, and is even more special than a regular potluck.
For example “Mexican Night,” or “Cozy Comfort Dishes,” are always big hits. We’ve enjoyed “Appetizers Only,” “Southern Cooking,” and a “Salad” theme as well.
I’ve asked around, to see what other successful groups have recommended.
So with these tips in mind, an Italian Night is a fun theme to bring people together.
Supper club tips
-Schedule the group once a month. For example, keep it consistent, like the third Thursday night of each month. With a fixed date, everyone can plan months ahead.
-Make it potluck. With potluck, you can ask each woman to bring a neighbor or friend (if you want to grow the group).
-Come up with a simple theme for each meal.
-Start a private group on Facebook where you can share all the details and recipes!
Enjoy this easy recipe today!
